Why Wingback?

In soccer, wingbacks run faster and longer than anyone else on the field. They're creative enough to get the ball to the team's playmakers and hard-nosed enough to defend. The best ones are known for never being outworked. 

I named my company Wingback because it's what I played in college – and it's a position that tends to be among the least heralded. 

Your marketing partners should be that way, too. Unlike a lot of look-at-me agencies, my team loves being the behind-the-scenes change agents who elevate brands and amplify the internal teams who work for them.

Our favorite compliment is when clients tell us they forget we're not on the internal team.

About Us

Wingback is a multi-service marketing, communications, and analytics agency with more than a decade of experience serving clients across higher education, EdTech, sports, media, and entertainment. 

Prior to founding Wingback, Chris led the Business Intelligence and Marketing Strategy teams at Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer. Before that he served as an executive in Higher Education and EdTech. He earned his master's degree in communication management with an emphasis in integrated marketing from the University of Southern California. 

His team features experienced and certified specialists in the following areas: paid advertising, data strategy and visualization, CRM, multimedia content production, and social media.
